I can easily overlook the fact that there is a lot of stuff in my apartment. There’s a couch, a chair, a dining table, a dining room chair, and a coffee table that I haven’t gotten around to putting in the right place. I don’t know why I haven’t done so yet.

We know that no one is going to buy any of this stuff. And no one is going to want it. But the fact that we do know that doesn’t mean we should take it seriously.
